Open day success

Our team had a great afternoon welcoming members of the local community to showcase our new centre in North Seaton with our first ever ‘drop in’ event in November.

Visitors got to read about the ground-up story of South Side House and learn why the work we do is crucial to people living with MS and their primary carer. They also got a chance to see our treadmill in action! The space, which will officially open in later this year, has been many years in the making and will be one of the first of it’s kind in the region to offer free physiotherapy to people living with MS. Alongside state of the art equipment, the star of the show is the AlterG Anti Gravity Treadmill which has already received incredible feedback from service users who have trialed it over the past couple of months.

It was wonderful to welcome Cllr Victor Bridges of Ashington Town Council who spent the afternoon gaining a valuable insight into the work of MSRRF and the difference this centre will make to the region. Massive thanks to our team and trustees who helped the day run smoothly and who have been instrumental in seeing the project through.

Keep an eye out for our official launch event coming soon or drop us a message to be notified of the date. We are particularly interested to hear from any organisations that would like to partner with us as a charity to help raise vital funds and build a fantastic working relationship.
